Among the extensive range of erectile dysfunction drugs offered by My Canadian Pharmacy, Cialis Soft Tabs and Cialis Super Active occupy a special place: they both provide an extremely long-lasting effect and a much shorter onset than the classic Cialis, at the same time minimizing the risk of side effects. However, for many of our customers it may be difficult to understand how these two drugs are different from each other. This is why we have prepared this overview, including a few recent reviews that we have received from our customers; we hope that this information will help you make a more informed choice and obtain the best results.
Do they work in the same way?
Cialis Super Active and Cialis Soft Tabs are not the same drug, though they are both based on tadalafil. Just like sildenafil and vardenafil, tadalafil belongs to the group of chemical compounds known as PDE5 inhibitors (learn more) – and, as follows from the name, they work by inhibiting an enzyme called PDE5 (phosphodiesterase 5). The process of erection development is extremely complex and would take pages to explain in detail, but here are the basics: when a man is sexually aroused, his body (upon a command from the brain) produces nitric oxide, which sets in motion a whole range of processes that results in the penis filling up with blood. However, high levels of PDE5 prevent the smooth muscle in the penis from relaxing and block the blood flow.
The job of both Cialis Super Active and Cialis Soft Tab is to override PDE5 and increase the blood flow. Up to this point, the mechanism of action of both drugs is the same. However, they differ in the way the body processes and absorbs them. Cialis Super Active is produced in the form of gelatinous pills that are swallowed whole and absorbed very quickly in the digestive tract (within 20-30 minutes); by contrast, Cialis Soft Tabs is available in the form of chewable pills that are dissolved in the mouth and absorbed directly into the bloodstream, resulting in an even faster onset time – only 15 minutes!
Are Cialis Super Active and Cialis Soft Tabs both good for everyone?
Both of these ED drugs are considered very safe and have been amply tested both in clinical conditions and by the My Canadian Pharmacy customers. Over the course of 2017, we have received over 400 detailed reviews of these two drugs, and only about 4.5% of users reported any noticeable side effects (mostly headache and belly pain). Some cases described in medical literature mention patients who experienced a temporary change in color perception, dizziness, muscle pain, and vomiting when taking classic Cialis, but no such reports exist about either Cialis Soft Tabs or Cialis Super Active. In fact, both pills belong to the so-called fourth-generation ED medications, which are significantly superior to the standard Cialis first released 15 years ago. The composition of inactive ingredients has been completely redesigned in order to minimize the risks and improve the absorption.
In spite of their safety, Cialis Soft Tabs and Cialis Super Active are not suitable for everyone. Those men who suffer from a chronically low blood pressure should not take them, and neither should those who take nitrate medications for chest pain. Men who are treated with alpha blockes, calcium channel blockers, and any other PDE inhibitors should be very careful when taking any of these two drugs. If you have a chronic health condition (such as cardiovascular disease, kidney or liver disease, or diabetes) or have recently undergone a surgery, you should consult your physician before taking Cialis Soft Tabs or Cialis Super Active. As far as contraindications and drug interactions go, there is no significant difference between the two.
Do you take these drugs in the same way?
Here is a very important point: Cialis Soft Tabs and Cialis Super Active are NOT taken in the same way! The key difference is that Cialis Super Active should be swallowed whole – no chewing, no cutting the pill in halves. It then dissolves in the intestinal tract and is absorbed into the blood. You can eat right before or after taking Cialis Super Active, but it is important what you eat, since some foods tend to reduce the effect of the pill. Saturated fats in particular do not combine well with tadalafil or any other ED drug.
Meals that contain a lot of fat require hours to digest before your intestine can proceed to absorb the tadalafil, meaning that instead of acting in 20-30 minutes, it will take a couple of hours to take effect – even longer than normal Cialis! This way, you will lose all the advantage that the amazing innovative formula of Cialis Super Active provides. Therefore, follow our advice: if you choose to take Cialis Super Active, only combine it with light meals that contain lean proteins, vegetables, and whole grains.
Cialis Soft Tabs is a very different story, however. It should not be swallowed – quite the opposite, it should be chewed until it dissolved in the mouth. Absorption in the mouth occurs extremely quickly, since the medication goes directly into the bloodstream, without the need to pass through the digestive system. This is why some other drugs that need to act quickly – those used to treat chest pain, for example – are usually placed under the tongue rather than swallowed. The onset of Cialis Soft Tabs is amazingly short – only about 15 minutes, and some of our customers have reported an effect in under 10 minutes!
Are Cialis Soft Tabs and Cialis Super Active equally efficient?
As we have pointed out above, Cialis Soft Tabs is the fastest-acting ED drug based on tadalafil that is available on the market, and the reports we receive from My Canadian Pharmacy customers confirm that fact. However, it should be said that the effect of Cialis Super Active tends to last longer. In general, tadalafil has the longest half-life period among all PDE5 inhibitors: over 18 hours. This means that even 36 hours after you take a standard Cialis pill, you still have circa 25% of the active ingredient in your system. This is why Cialis is known as the weekend pill it allows to have sex repeatedly over the course of circa 36 hours. The creators of Cialis Super Active have managed to further enhance the formula, achieving a truly impressive result – up to 50-55 hours of action!
Cialis Soft Tabs is absorbed much faster, but it is also flushed out of the system somewhat faster: our customers report reliably good performance for 36-40 hours, but not 50 hours as with Cialis Super Active.
Prices for Cialis Super Active and Cialis Soft Tabs
Both drugs are availalbe in the same two dosages of 20 mg and 40 mg of tadalafil and in the same pack sizes from 30 to 180 pills, making the comparison of their prices easier. Consult the product pages for the two drugs, and you will see that both are very affordable; in fact, here at My Canadian Pharmacy we pride ourselves on our ability to negotiate with the suppliers and obtain the best prices on the market. However, you will notice that Cialis Soft Tab is slightly cheaper that Cialis Super Active. This has nothing to do with the relative quality of the two drugs; rather, it reflects the amount of money spent by the pharmaceutical company that developed Cialis Super Active on research and the construction of a new production facility.
Conclusions
Both Cialis Super Active and Cialis Soft Tabs have their advantages: while the Soft Tabs version is preferable for those men who value the shortest possible onset (as well as in situations when price is the deciding factor), Cialis Super Active is to be preferred if you seek a combination of a fast onset with a very long duration of the effect and are prepared to control what you eat while you take the pills. If you have any lingering questions about Cialis Soft tabs or Cialis Super Active, please don’t hesitate to contact the customer support team of My Canadian Pharmacy: we are at your service 24/7!
